Fashion Show!

In true Deerfield Drive fashion, Allison and Zachary had a fashion show this morning. We didn't charge admission...this was just a practice run. Watch out Beth and Stacey, Allison and Zachary will soon be ready for a "show."

Allison and Zachary are wearing sweaters that were knitted by my grandmother's friend, Shirley. In another shot they are wearing an outfit sent to them from one of Mommy's former students, Matilda, who lives in Sweden. Thanks to Aunt Beth, the babies are stylin' in their "I Love NY" onesies. What's a fashion show without some designer apparel from the Big Apple? It won't be long before Mommy brings Allison and Zachary to NYC to visit Aunt Beth. She'll have to bring Aunt Stacey along so that they can all find a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown.

Thanksgiving 2008

Allison and Zachary took their first trip (other than to the doctor's office) on Thanksgiving Day. We went to Pittsboro to spend Thanksgiving with the Winokur family and Grandma Marilee. The twins slept all the way to Pittsboro and most of the time at the Winokur's house. We wondered if someone slipped them some Thanksgiving turkey.

The photos above show Allison and Zachary in their bibs (Thanks, Aunt Lana!) and one family picture.

Allison in her Big, Big Crib

Allison and Zachary sleep in our room in a twin pack n play, but recently we introduced them to their cribs. We are amazed at how small they look in their cribs. Here is a picture of Allison staring at the mobile while getting used to her BIG crib.

Zachary Discovers the Bouncy Seat

Today Zachary tried out the bouncy seat for the first time. He enjoyed his time (and in the picture it looks like he was singing, but he was really just yawning and relaxing). His mom and grandparents spent their time saying, "Down, Holly." We are convinced that Zachary and Allison's first word will either be "Down" or "Holly."

Holly has become the babies' watchdog. She believes it is her duty to watch them at all times, while Eno chooses to find a cozy corner with a warm blanket or pillow to take a rest. Eno is currently the smartest member of our family, because sleep is hard to come by these days.
